For some reason I couldn’t seem to sleep past 4am today. Could’ve been the roosters next door. By 5am it was light enough that I grabbed my beach bike and headed out for a morning ride. Turned out to be a great idea – seeing Hoi An in the early morning was wonderful. I was able to enjoy the quietness riding through the ride fields. I made my way up to the Ancient City – roads – completely clear.
It was a great opportunity to really focus on the architecture and colors of the city. Beautiful flower vines climb over many of the shops. Also the river was full of empty colorful boats.
The only area that was busy was the market – teaming with all the locals coming to buy the produce and fresh meat.
